Holy Crazy 2 Weeks!

So most of you know our whole housing situation. But here's the story for those of you who don't. We are renting right now. The people that own this house decided to list it as a short sale the beginning of December. Well they have had maybe 10 people look at it since then. So they got an auction date of when it would go into foreclosure which was July 10th. Well, just before July 10th we were told that the auction date had been extended until October. So we had planned to hold out as long as we could before moving. We REALLY like where we live right now. Perfect house, perfect neighbors, perfect neighborhood and perfect ward. Well, apparently things were too perfect because about 2 weeks ago we got a notice in the mail saying the house we were living in had been foreclosed on July 10th and we now have 30 days to vacate the premises. Supposedly the owners had no clue that it had been foreclosed on either. But who know! Either way it sucks really bad. So we have spent the last 2 1/2 weeks hoping and praying a house in our ward/neighborhood would open up for rent, but nothing. So we finally found a house this morning that we signed a lease on. It is a nice house. It is smaller than what we are living in now and it isn't in our ward, but it will be ok. (at least that's what I keep telling myself.) It wouldn't be such a big deal to move, but this will be our 7th move in 7 years and it just gets old! It is especially hard to move when you don't want to and when you love everything about where you live now. But change is good....right????!! And at least we aren't moving too far away from our good friends and neighbors! So we will be getting stuff moved into our new house this week (hopefully before school starts on Monday)! So wish us luck with our lucky #7 move! :)
