Kids

Today "the girls" from next door came over to play and have lunch with us. They aren't members of our church, but are very good Christian people who attend another church. This was the conversation between Collin and Brynna (who is six)...

Collin, "Brynna, why don't you go to our church?"
Brynna, "Just because we go to a different church."
Collin, "But our church is the closest church to our house so you should go there."
Brynna, "Our church isn't very far away either though."
Collin, "Where is it?"
Brynna, "Just in Nampa."
Collin, "Well, I think you should come to our church."
Brynna, "Well, we talk about God at our church."
Collin, "So do we."
Brynna, "You do?! Well, I guess if you believe in God like us then you can go to heaven forever too!"
Collin, "Well, you have to make sure you always do the right thing too and you can never be mean."
Brynna, "Ok."
Collin, "I wonder what church Paige goes to?" (Paige is our other neighbor)
Me, "Paige doesn't go to any church."
Collin and Brynna both gasped and then at the same time said, "We better tell her to go to church so she can go to heaven too."

And then they continued eating and talking about normal 5 & 6 year old things! :)
