Activity Day

I have decided to post what we do for each of our Activity Days so that I can share my ideas with those of you who want them! So tonight we had a Flag Etiquette Night. We talked all about the meaning behind the 4th of July and why we celebrate it and then we talked about the flag. I had Scott do this part since he has been in Scouts and knows more that I ever care to know about the flag. The girls really seemed to enjoy it and asked a TON of questions. Scott also taught them how to fold the flag and they thought that was fun also. We had patriotic sugar cookies for a treat.
