Cooper's Staples

A few weeks before Christmas Cooper was running down the stairs and slipped on a coat that was on the hardwood floor and whacked his head on one of our end tables. At first all we saw was a big old bruise on his side, but he was holding his head too and when he moved his hand away there was blood everywhere. Scott got him cleaned up, but thought we better take him in to get it checked out because it was pretty deep. Well, of course this all happened at like 8:15p.m. and all the insta-care clinics close at 8p.m. so to the emergency room they headed where he ended up having to get 3 staples. Scott said he couldn't believe how brave and tough he was and said he didn't even cry. He only had to keep them in for a week and now when his hair is short you can see a nice battle scar!
