Salt Lake

Friday afternoon we headed into Salt Lake to spend a few days there. Scott's brother who lives in Arizona now was coming up with his family and Scott wanted to make sure we took the time to see them. We stayed downtown Salt Lake and had fun swimming, watching cable (we don't have cable at our house) :), walking around Temple Square, riding the tram, eating, and spending some time with family. Both Friday night and Saturday night we drove out to Tooele where the rest of Scott's family was and had dinner and visited. Saturday it was Michael's birthday so we got to help him celebrate! And for those of you who really know my kids you know that they LOVE any kind of  a party so they were VERY excited to be able to go to Michael's party!:) On our way home today we met my parents in American Falls and my mom brought me a HUGE box of plums which I am VERY excited to make some fruit leather with! YUM! Thank you Mom!:) It was soooooo nice to get away this weekend and it made me even more grateful for the awesome little family that I have!
