i am going to buy a vita mix or blendtec and get it for my birthday next week, but that would not fall under the reasonable priced category. when i burned out my blender a few weeks back i bought one from costco it was oyster it said America #1 blender. it was 24 bucks and it think it does a pretty good job. give it a try. it is great for the price. it works better than my old $100 one.
